Passing variables through DataPage Authentication

Hello all!

So I've been using the DataPage Authentication to guard access to a search app. The following fields are attached to a user:

So the DataPage Authentication checks to see if the username and password are correct and compares it against whether or not search_use is YES or NO before letting a user in.

That's been working fine but my issue now is, I'd like to be able to pass on more fields(not check them, just pass them) so that they can be later used. The idea is the user database will hold their preferences so that when they go to search with the app I can use their preferences to sort it.

I've tried in advanced just having on exit: pass field value to next page but the DataPage authentication keeps trying to check that rather than just let it go on through.

Thoughts on how to achieve my end goal?
