Auto Populate Based On Report Submission

I currently have a simple report where users can filter using dropdown and cascading dropdown boxes.

 

What I would like to do is record certain fields into a table based on what was selected on the report. I'd also like to record a timestamp and the user's IP address.

 

Is this possible? I'd really appreciate any help!

You can create your search and report in two pages. Search page is a submission page which acts as search, this tutorial has the details: http://howto.caspio.com/parameters/in-action/in-action-search-page-and-results-page-in-two-different-webpages.html

 

This submission page can be based on a table you created to save the user search criteria in.

 

instead of adding virtual field if you keep actual field you can save the search value. To get the IP address you can add a text field to your table and in configure fields screen select AutoValue as form element and AutoValue Type: User IP Address: http://howto.caspio.com/datapages/form-elements/autovalue.html

and also a timestamp field in the table to record the time.
