How Do I Have My Form Search Results Start With Showing All Records

Hello all. Please forgive if this has been asked and answered but I was unable to find a post here about it. I have a search form and a results page. They work beautifully. My employer has asked that form load with all results showing rather than a blank page that waits for user input to perform a search. How can I have my page load all results when it loads up.

 

Basically, think of a drop down where the first choice is "Show All". I can add the option to the drop down list but I am confused as to what to do to get it to actually display all records when this selection is made.

If I understand correctly, a Report with Pre-defined Criteria can help.

In the Search and Report Wizard - Search Type, select Filter Data on Pre-Defined Criteria.  For the next page, Select Filtering Fields, do NOT bring any fields over to filter by.  Click finish and test out the DataPage.

Hi all, 

Good news! Last October, Caspio release new updates. One of the impacted areas is that search form and results are on the same page. 

In order to initially display the records, you have to choose "Ignore field in search criteria" on the Advanced Tab.
