i am have been trying to develop a chart on my web page for hours and i am failing. i need to develop a line chart based on a table with two main columns that i will be using. 1. x-axis getting data from the date field 2. y-axis getting data from the value field.
on the chart creation wizard, at the point of configuring the axis, only the x-axis has the option of specifying the field(shown as the category field) BUT THE Y-AXIS DOES NOT. All it has for the Y-axis is the title, value label and axis value range. as a result my chart will only display the x-axis but with no data because there is no y-axis. what am i missing here. i have looked everywhere and this has driven me nuts. i would appreciate help as soon as possible
