Suspend Or Disable A Record From All Datapages

Hello,

 

Is it possible to suspend or disable a record if a certain checkbox in the update form or detail form is clicked?

 

I have an employee record where I plan on hiding records of employees who have terminated or resigned.

 

I would like the record from all datapages to be either made unseen or made "disabled", when a checkbox in an update or a report detailed page that says "terminated?"  Y/N is checked.

 

I have several datapages that use the same records from the same table, and I wish for all those datapages to be updated when this one checkbox is ticked.

 

Any ideas?

Hello Elena.

 

How are you doing? Good question you have!

 

I would recommend you to use a View as a source for your DataPages , which will filter your Data with a checkbox " Terminated". 

Go to View->Create New->Select a table->Go to Criteria Tab-> Create : checkbox "Terminated" equals " unchecked checkbox". 

In this case your you will see only those users who has unchecked "Termitaned" checkbox.
