Edit Details Page

ababcock

Question

I have created a search-and-report page. When the user gets to the details page, I created an Edit button that links to a standalone details page where they can edit the information and click update. When they update, I can redirect them back to the home page, or to the search screen, or any URL, but I'm wondering if it's possible to take them back to the results screen or the first details page (not the standalone one)... so they don't have to re-enter their search information when they are making changes on a lot of details pages.

Does anyone know how to accomplish that? Thank you!

Amanda

Thanks Aurora! The problem is that I can't really create a standalone details page based on every search the user would ever do. There are several different fields to search by, and one is a date range, which will constantly change. When you have editable fields on the details page of a search-and-report datapage, you can click update and redirect back to the search results, but I'm not sure how to do that when the details page is not part of the search-and-report datapage.

Thoughts?
