Is there a work around for the default value to be alpha numeric? I have a hidden field with on load receive default value and I really need this to be alpha numeric.

You should be able to pass and receive alpha numeric as long as the table field is set to text. If set to numeric then you cannot.

Hi! Just to update this post, Caspio allows setting up a default value for a field and there are three methods for defining default values:

For almost all Standard fields, you can use the Advanced tab in the Configure Fields screen of the DataPage wizard.
For Listbox and Dropdown fields, you can define default choices using Custom Values in the Configure Fields screen in your DataPage wizard.
For all field types, you can create Triggered Actions which automatically fill out the Value field.
