Collapsible Sections And Checkboxes

HI All

 

I've been trying to get my collapsible sections on a submission form to work with checkboxes.

 

I've seen the 2 previous posts on this:

... but I can't seem to adapt the coding to make this work.  At the moment I have everything working successfully with buttons, exactly as described in Caspio help.

 

Can anyone help advise?

If you want to have checkbox to show a section you can use Rules.

 

Add a new section for each set:

 

Section1

virtual 1

Section2

Fields

.

.

Section3

virtual 2

Section4

Fields

.

.

Section5

virtual 3

Section6

Fields

.

.

 

Then you can have Rules:

 

If Virtual 1 is not checked ==> Hide Section2

If Virtual 2 is not checked ==> Hide Section4

If Virtual 3 is not checked ==> Hide Section6

 

If it is in a submission page and section is hidden values of the hidden fields will be blank though.

Thanks, but your last point is exactly the problem I face.  I think the solution that would work for me best is to properly adapt the collapsible sections coding to work with checkboxes.
