Question

In the Run a Report area, after running a report and choosing Download Data, one of our users is no longer getting the option to Save As a different type of file, the only option she gets is to save as an XML Document. She really needs to save the file as an Excel Workbook. On my computer I am able to do it. How can we fix this problem?

Hello asimmons,

 

Bridge always creates Excel XML file, when you choose "MS Excel Spreadsheet (XML)" as file format. I think your user has some issue with file associations. Can you ask she try repair Office installation?
