Disable Previous Search

Hello,

 

I currently have a Database and a Tabular Report. We are thinking of using a Barcode scanner to scan ID to search participants up on the database. 

Whenever i search for a user and go back to the search form, it displays the last search that was made, making it difficult to smoothly scan a barcode as it just adds the values to the text, instead of overwriting it. this means we have to delete the text before scanning another barcode!

 

I really need help as i have tried googling the answer and cannot seem to find the answer anywhere!

However, it sounds like you might be looking to have the search page automatically reset itself upon loading.  I'm also curious as to how this could be done.
