In my database I want a column to ideally contain a video.
Can this be done? If so, there are restrictions. What is 'accepted practice'? YOUTUBE is better than VIMEO? Is it best to embed video separately on the web?

You need to get the embed code of the video by clicking on Share >> Embed  and add it to the table source of a report page. Then you can include this code and render it as HTML.

Hi, just to update this post. I believe that Caspio can save a video file in the table (Single file upload via DataPage submission is 50 MB) but it will not or cannot be played in the DataPage once you play it because I think they don't have a player for that. But you may try this code that I get from this link:
