You can easily import your Access database into Caspio and use its point-and-click wizards to create a searchable interface. You can then import your database on set intervals to keep the data fresh, append new records, or use web services to automate the entire process. See our online tutorials at http://www.caspio.com/support/training.asp

Hi,

Just to add to the previous comment above, Yes that is possible in Caspio but you should import your Access Database into your Caspio Bridge. Your existing data can be imported into Caspio Bridge during App creation or at any time from the Tools menu at the top. Regular data imports can also be scheduled with DataHub via Tools/Scheduled Tasks if the option is available in your Plan.  Caspio Bridge can import data files in the following formats:

  • Microsoft Access files (.mdb and .accdb, all tables data types and relationships)
  • Microsoft Excel files (every worksheet)
  • CSV (Comma Separated Values)
  • Tab Delimited text
  • Fixed Width text
  • Caspio Bridge XML (every setting)
  • Custom XML

One or multiple files of different formats can be compressed in ZIP format for faster upload. The maximum uncompressed size of each individual file is currently 150 MB.

The import process has two main steps: uploading your file and configuring the import. You can begin the upload and continue with other Caspio Bridge tasks and come back later and begin the import process from a message that will be posted in the messages area upon the completion of the upload process.

For more details, you can refer to this link: https://howto.caspio.com/tables-and-views/importing-data/

Hi @webguy

Just to add up to the comments above, after you have successfully imported your records from MS Access. You can create a Search and Report DataPage to display this records, for more details about this kindly check the link below. As it contains useful information on how to set up / configure this,

I hope this helps.

Hi All,

Just want to let you know that MS Access will be deprecated. If you have an existing Data Import/Export task, the used MS Access will continue to function until April 1, 2024. We strongly recommend updating your scheduled import/export tasks that use MS Access before this date to avoid interruption to your applications. Refer to the article
