DATEADD calculation error

So I have checked this several times, but it still gives me the error 'HWDate' is not a recognized dateadd option.  Even though I have gone into the table and double-checked it. Here is my 

DATEADD([@field:HWDate], 3, 'm')

Trying to calculate 3 months from the date entered in HWDate.

Nevermind solved it with:

DATEADD(month, 3, [@field:HWDate])
