0 plance
Good question... I was wondering the same. My workaround for this is to download it (csv) and then open and save in excel. ( It is a couple of extra steps but no biggie ) Paul
0 Bangalore
From your comments, I gather that you are trying to download records from the Results Page in Excel format. Please correct me if I am wrong. Currently from the Results page, the two options are downloading as XML or CSV files. The downloaded file can be opened in Excel. So, yes, your workaround is the best approach now.
0 robelliott
I and my users download the resutls set as an XML file and open with Excel. That way it preserves the UK formatting of dates I need.
0 alanklink
I run MAC OS, so I have Numbers instead of Excel. My users have Excel, though. It opens as a text box in Numbers, which is useless. I will try XML. I didn't open the file as a .txt format, so I will try that as well. Thanks. 0 MayMusic
Are you trying to download data on your report DataPage? Then you can choose XML as described here https://howto.caspio.com/faq/reports-datapages/how-to-make-the-search-results-downloadable-for-my-users/
