Dynamically Change The Table, Filter Etc Of A Drop Down/cascading Dropdown Field

Is there any way of dynamically change (through Javascript) the associated parameters (table,, filter, field for display etc) of a dropdown / cascading dropdown field ?

The lookup table, field for display, field for value, etc of a dropdown field are usually set during design mode.

 

I want to be able to change these dynamically, base3d on the value of some other fields.

I suppose that will not be possible to implement.A good option would be to create several DataPAges with predefined criterias and render them to your page with the help of JavaScript.

There are Conditional Forms in Caspio.

You can hide some fields depending on values of some other fields.

You can create all variants of dropdown boxes and then hide all except one.

Will it work for you?

 

You can use JavaScript to hide boxes also.
