Passing The Value Of A Calculated Field In A Report Over To A Table.

I would like to pass the value of a calculated field from a quiz score over to a table so it can be saved and used in another report.  Can this be done?  If so, how?

If you create the same calculated field in details page then you can make the field that is supposed to keep the value hidden and receive Data Source Fields and then select the Calculated Field in here. This way the value will get saved to the table

I tried what I believe you were saying and the value did not roll to the Form / Table. 

 

I have created a Calculated Field in a Report that Adds Values that have come in from a Form / Quiz.  The calculated field equation produces a numerical score. 

 

Upon clicking update the value does not move onto the next form / Table.  I have tried a virtual table as well and that too does not pass on.

 

The Order I have is Form-Report-Form all from the same table.  Is that correct?

Hello jnordstrand,

 

As far as I know, on Details page you can create a Virtual Field and on the Advanced tab check the "On load" check-box. Then you can select "Data Source Fields" and "Calculated Field 1" in the next dropdowns, and then you can pass the value as parameter.
