How To Delete?

For the 'file' data type, Is it possible to force a file deletion when selecting 'remove'.  It seems the remove option only removes it from view, but the file still exists.  So if i upload a file of the same name as the deleted one, the new attachment is renamed with '_1'.

 

I know it is possible to request orphan file cleanup, but is there any way to delete the file immediately?

Hi,

when you click "remove" checkbox and update the report the file will be deleted from the source table and from the view as well.

 

But file still exists in All Assets->Files. You can request  auto orphan file cleanup to remove deleted files from your account once in 24 hours. 

 

If you need to delete the file immediately you can do it manually in All assets->Files. But you should know its name.
