Format

Just started a trial. I'm trying to format a standard data entry field for currency, I see a format option if I make my field a formula but not as a text field and I see no option to change from text to currency. 

Am I just missing something that really should be obvious to me or is this perhaps a limitation of the trial

Is your formula returning a text? If you change the value that is being returned to a number field you will be able to format it as Currency

As I say I see a format option when I'm using a formula, it's when I'm using a standard data entry field that I don't. i want my user to enter (say) “14” into the field and have it display £14.00.

Hey there. 

This is absolutely doable within Caspio. You need to set up the field as currency.

On your Reports DataPage, you can set it up to the formatting you want it to.

This method will work if the form element is set to "Display Only".
