  1. Hi! You can apply the same calculation provided above. Assuming you will only get the sum of one value at a time, you just need to change the condition and field names
  2. Hello! For all the suggestions above, you may need to familiarize the available data types as well as system parameters. Here's where you can learn more about them: Data Types - Caspio Online Help System Parameters - Caspio Online Help
  3. Hi All! I was wondering if there is a workaround for my situation. My logout link is located on the footer of my form and I named the link "Cancel Entry". After submission, I can see the success message (which is what I want to see) but I can also still see the logout link and given how I named it, it's not really good to see it still since you are done submitting a record. What can I do so I can keep the link in the footer but not show that once the user actually submits? Any help is much appreciated
  4. Hi fellow Caspio users! I was wondering if anyone was able to implement a functionality similar to what I want to have. Basically, I have a tabular report page where one column contains a small image or perhaps an "icon". It's a smaller version of the original full-size image that I am showing in the results page. What I want to happen is whenever a user hovers over the image, I want a zoomed in version to pop-up. I was using the code from this forum post but it also zooms other icons like the inline edit icon. Any help would be appreciated <3
  5. Hey! You guys might find this helpful as well given the suggestion above Submission Forms - Caspio Online Help Lookup Tables - Caspio Online Help https://howto.caspio.com/datapages/forms/form-element-types/#Dropdown
  6. Hi @Roosta, for stuff like this, I always reach out to their support team their engineering team is a big help for generating such reports like what you are looking for. I suggest you give it a go and check with them
  7. Hi @emilyawalker, whenever I start making a new application, my best go-to reference is Caspio's Best Practice articles. Most of the points here are provided to me by their support team whenever I ask for assistance about optimization. https://howto.caspio.com/datapages/best-practices-in-creating-caspio-applications/ https://howto.caspio.com/tables-and-views/table-and-database-design/ Hope this helps you out too!

  9. Hello! I've been looking for possible solutions, but I can't seem to find any. Is there any way to make a field in search form to look for either positive values or negative ones? I tried working with criteria but can't make it work. Any help would be appreciated! <3 I'm working with an integer field btw. Thanks in advance!!!
  10. Hi all!! I just wanted to share this new feature to this community! Caspio finally added a way to change the sender's name in SMS that gets sent out. I was waiting for this for so long and finally, I can now show a name instead of a number when my users receive SMS from Caspio! It can be changed under Account Settings and here is the link to their article about it: https://howto.caspio.com/notifications/sms-notifications/adding-sms-sender-name/ - Jihyo ♥
  11. Heyaa! Dropping Caspio's article all about Directories here as well: https://howto.caspio.com/directories/directories-overview/directories-overview/ - Jihyo ♥
  12. Hey guys! Just had an idea as well that I would like to share. What if you use a multi-step form for levels? Like, when the user passes the validation that @ParkLoey mentioned above, you can move on to the next level or the next DataPage like a multi-step form? https://howto.caspio.com/tech-tips-and-articles/common-customizations/how-to-create-a-multi-page-form/ The game is such a nice idea and seems very doable in Caspio! Hope you get to successfully develop this @Johnsp65!
  13. heyaa everyone! Just wanted to suggest using task as well for manipulating/updating values you import to your tables. maybe this can help in limiting the number of decimals as well: https://howto.caspio.com/tasks/
  14. Heya @jeffs88keys just saw your reply today. Were you able to resolve this? How about using calculated value. You can reference that virtual field that contains the parameter in another virtual field which you can turn in to a calculated field for replacing the special character. Then, instead of the virtual field that still contains the space (your virtual field 4 I suppose), you can use this new one (the one who makes the calculations) and pass that instead. However, I don't know the overall workflow of your app. Even so, I still hope this helps - Jihyo ♥
  15. Hey guys! I had this problem before and although @ParkLoey's suggestion is nice (I tried it too) it can be a hassle when you have limited allowance for account resources. What I did was every time I am done with a template (blank app), I create a backup through export option and just import it whenever I need to use the template Exporting an App - Caspio Online Help - Jihyo ♥
