Remove Selected Values on Dropdown

I'm looking for a workaround to remove a value on my dropdown field if it was already selected by one of my users and submitted using a submission form. Is that possible?

Hi there, I have created a workaround to achieve this using a lookup table and triggered actions.

Here are my tables:
1. Colors_Select_Table - the table that I use as the data source of my submission form

2. Colors_Lookup - the lookup table that I use as the data source of the drop down field

On the Colors_Select_Table, I created a triggered action that deletes the selected color on the lookup table upon insert using the submission form. Here's a screenshot:

I have the same challenge. The discussed solution would work if there is an update of the involved lookup source table after each selection. However, if the selection occurs within one record, there are no submissions between each selection, and then the workflow does not work? I was hoping there would be a built-in solution for it. I now have a virtual field alerting the user of 'double selection has occurred, and a script that prevents submission if indeed the user has selected the same items several times. Ideally though, the user should not have to worry about it.
