Does a view take up storage?

If I have a view with a million records because I have joined 3 tables, will it take up storage?

Views serve as a container for the tables and it will not accumulate additional records or storage in your account.  Storage is calculated out of files storage and data storage. You may also refer to this article: https://howto.caspio.com/tables-and-views/what-are-views/views/

Hi, may I know why you are using the Views and displaying a total of million records? If this is intended for reports view, this may not be optimized unless number of records are also filtered. Here is the link for reference:  Best Practices in Creating Caspio Applications - Caspio Online Help

I agree with what @SinJunYoungmentioned on this thread. Since you have million of records in your table, I suggest filtering the data so you can get only those records that are necessary to your workflow and it can also help optimize the loading time of the DataPages that are using this view as the data source.
