using a dropdown with the Inline edit in Search Report?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had found a way to modify the Inline Edit available in search and report datapages to only allow values selected in a dropdown; or is the function limited to a text field only?

Hi,

In the result page, you can only edit via text fields.

You can use dropdowns in the details page.

I would have to think there is a javascript that would allow this.

Anyone know of a work around because this would be great.

In inline edit you have option to choose form element as well, click on Editing tab and change it.
