Multi-step form

I saw the tutorial for the multi-step using web pages but should it also work using datapages? the ID does not seem to be passed as my second form that is goes to on the data page does not populate with any record

What is the ID you are passing over? If on the first submission page you have AutoNumber and you check the box to pass it over to an update page, you need to pass receive AutoNumber in this format: [@InsertRecordFIELDNAME]. Replace "FIELDNAME" with AutoNumber field name.
