Is it possible to create a hyperlink within a calc field

Hi all,

I'm a newbie and would like to know if it is possible to create a hyperlink within a calculated field?   Any help is greatly appreciated.

You cannot create a hyperlink in a calculated field, Calculated fields are designed to use data primarily from a single record. For example, if your table has a length and a width field, you can use a calculated field to display area for each record. Try using HTML Block instead: https://howto.caspio.com/datapages/datapage-components/html-blocks/

Hi,

Maybe you are trying to make a cross table calculation by using the calculated field, in such case, you can write the calc field formula and then by ussing some CSS, you could hide the calc field column and use a HTML Block to create your link using the calc field data as it will be available from the parameters dropdown list.

I hope it gives you some light towards the most appropiate solution.

What you can do is to use the calculated field value in HTML Block to create your link. If you tell me what exactly you have in your cal field I can give you an example.
