Getting a search box to keep cursor after search is clicked.

Hi everyone,

 

I have a search box that I am using a with a barcode scanner gun.  Is there a way to have the cursor stay inside the search box so I do not have to keep clicking back into it?

@jnordstrand, have you tried enabling 'Automatically focus cursor on first field'?
