Login Page Deployment Trouble

af123

Question

I'm having trouble deploying my login page into my Weebly site.  The login box works fine and I'm able to enter username and password, but when I submit the credentials, it just shows me HTML code instead of taking me to the URL that I designated.  The first screenshot shows what happens when I try to log in, and the second one shows the page that it should be directing to upon login (search-and-report.html).  Any help and suggestions is appreciated.

Hi @af123,

When adding any script in HTML editor, always click 'source' and add it or disable the editor by  unchecking the box below and then add the code.  If not, the code will show as it is and will be read as text instead of JavaScript code.

Also, the URL in the screenshot seems incorrect. It cannot have both http and https. Try removing "http://www." part from it and test.

Hello @af123,

You need to disable the html editor so that it will not read as a text instead it will read it as html tag.

Thank you! Clicking "source" seemed to fix the issue.  And yes, that was my bad with the URL
