Use a trigger to send an email with an attachment (file uploaded to the table)

Is there a feature to be able to attach a file and send via an email trigger?

The file itself? No.

What you can do on the other hand is you can create a link on your email to where they can download the file.

If you have a datapage to spare, you can also create a dedicated report datapage where they can download it. The following are the steps.

1) Create a report datapage. Any report datapage will do.

2) Set the 'Search Type' to 'Filter data based on your pre-defined criteria'

3) Use the ID field for the filtering fields and make it capture an external parameter.

4) on the results page, select the file field.

5) Finish, deploy the datapage, and get its URL

6) On your trigger's email block, create a link to the datapage and include the ID of the record that has the as parameter. See this article for reference: https://howto.caspio.com/parameters/parameters-as-query-string-values/

Just want to add this here. You can also set your trigger to send an email if the new record has an uploaded file or if an existing record gets updated with a new file
