Formatting And Html Header / Footer For Password Reset Page

Niranjan

Question

When a user resets their password they get an email and a link in it. On using that link, a page comes up with just the password field and it's confirmation field. How can I add header / footer / branding / formatting to this page? Note that this is NOT the password reset page, but the page that fires after using the password reset page.

Hello Niranjan,

As far as I know, you can edit your "Password Recovery" DataPage and open the "Reset Password Field" step. This step defines the page that is displayed after a user clicks the link.

The "Configure Fields" step defines the page, where a user enters his username or any other unique field.

Hi! Just wanted to add to the comment above that it is correct. You can make changes/add fields in such on this configuration screen so it shows on the actual page where you enter a new password after accessing the link sent to the email. Additionally, you can use the same style you use for your other DataPages so it matches your branding/style.

Hope this helps!

Hello there, I thought this might help you out for future references. You can choose a New Style, insert a Header and Footer, add your company logo, personalize your DataPage messages, and cascade your website CSS. To learn more about it, feel free to check this link that is located or provided by Caspio.
