Email Report DataPage

Looking for a way I can directly email a report datapage. What I am thinking is some sort of link or button (or something like at the end of a submission form) where a user can view the report and email it to someone if necessary.

What you can do here is to configure your Submission form as what you can see in the screenshot below:

 

It will display the link of your Report DataPage and a link that will open your email wizard, just change it to the appropriate subject and body/content of the email.

@directrix, the only problem with that is it is a Report page, not a Submission page that I am working with. There is no "Destination Options" page on a report. Which, I find amazing, because reports are usually something you would want to share with others.

Then you may insert that to the footer of your Report DataPage.

Sorry, one last thing. I put the code in the footer, but it doesn't work 100%. I click the link, it brings up the email section with the subject filled out, but the URL in the body is not clickable and has a "<" in front of it. Its just the URL in plain text. I can copy and paste it, but that seems to not be right.

Try to copy and paste this code:

Just replace those text in red with the appropriate email, subject, URL and text to display in the Footer.

Create a submission form as a way to select the Person you want to email the report to.

Create virtual fields for the persons name and email. If you have a table of contacts, you could use a drop down or cascade of dropdowns to select the recipient.

Pass those virtual fields as parameters to setup the destination and email.

If you like you can embed the report into the submission form and filter it using pre-defined or searched fields  

In you email setup add a link to the report and pass the parameters you need to filter the report in the link.
