Multiple Fields in a Dropdown

I would like to be able to have multiple fields appear in a dropdown list. Currently, I have a dropdown on a datapage that displays a last name from another table. I would like for it to display a first and last name in that dropdown. Is there a way to do this?

What I suggest is to concatenate the fields into a third field. So your table look like:

First Name, Last Name, Full Name

John Murphy John Murphy

Then use Full Name field in the dropdown.

Adding a concatenated field to a table is baddddddddddddddddd design from a data structure standpoint, and convoluted from a development standpoint, as adding an extra fields to your tables for every scenario in which multiple fields are needed in a dropdown is beyond time-consuming.

Hi EIQ, you can use Formula Field feature to create a field that would save the data from both First Name and Last Name fields. This article has an example: http://howto.caspio.com/tables-and-views/data-types/formula-fields/ You can then use the formula field as field for Display and for Value in the drop down.

Any luck on this? Would be AWESOME to be able to include two fields in one dropdown. Looking to add two different address fields into one 'Address' dropdown.
