Restriction

Question

HI I would like to know how i can have restriction on apps. The structure will be like this

-Administrator

*department

#department head

--department user

the different levels can have multiple user, there will be different departments , the heads and users will not be able to view data from different department. Only the administrator will be able to view all. Please advise. Thank you

For different departments, create different folders and use different authenticated table.

Hi, just adding more information about this one. After you set up your Authentication, you will need to use Record Level Security Feature to prevent users from seeing data that they shouldn't see, and only be able to view data related to them. Just to add in the previous comments above, you may also consider having or using login redirection so that it would be organized once your users will login and only see the views related to them with also the help of Authentication(Record level security) and filtering of Data:
