I am creating a DataPage which is a survey type and I wanted a radio button as a selection. Can I add emoticons as options for the radio buttons?

Yes, you can. But if you wanted to make it work, simply get the unicode and change "U+" to "&#x". For example, U+1F600 which is a smiley face, make it &#x1F600 for it to be able to load on Caspio. I have also attached a screen shot for reference. Hope this helps.

There are a lot of users who are asking for the different paths as to how they can use Radio buttons lol so here's the link: https://howto.caspio.com/datapages/forms/form-element-types/

Anyway, I think I have also created a detailed article for dropdown here: https://forums.caspio.com/topic/8809-dropdown-article/?do=findComment&comment=27236

Thanks @OppaShinJoonYoung, this is great!

I just wanted to add that it is best practice to always end/terminate HTML Character Entities with a semi-colon (;). More info here: https://www.w3schools.com/html/html_entities.asp

While modern browsers usually terminate these entity calls when they see a space, older browser versions don't.

Hope this info helps.

Hi guys! Just wanted to add that Caspio's latest release (25.0), they can now support Unicode symbols so you can display emoji characters and other symbols directly in your apps. They can be used in Tables, Views, DataPages, Email/SMS Notifications, Localizations, Formulas, Triggered Actions and Application Tasks. The supported symbols are listed at https://unicode.org/emoji/charts/full-emoji-list.html :D
