Sql Select Statment To Count Only Fields With Data

I Have tried to get support but they are not responding to my ticket and I have been struggling with this very simple task for a report. I need to create a calculated field that counts the number of fields with data in a column by district - do not count NULL fields. In normal SQL, you can use a count function which does not include NULL fields but this counts everything for some reason. Not sure what I am doing wrong but here is the statement which should pull the count of fields with data but instead counts all the fields by distrcit.. ANY help would be appreciated... select count(Dropping_Unit) FROM CH_tbl_Base WHERE District=[@field:DistrictName] THANKS -

Can someone help me in Task? I need to assign a variable with the number of records in my SELECT statement. I am thinking of using this COUNT. But do not know how. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello All, I would like to COUNT the values between a certain time frame regardless of date... for this example lets say 10AM and 4PM or 10:00 and 16:00. Please consider: Item1: 01/07/15 11:00:00 Item2: 01/04/15 13:00:00 Item3: 01/03/15 07:00:00 Item4: 01/06/15 17:00:00 Item5: 01/03/15 09:00:00 Item6: 01/07/15 15:00:00 Desired results: 3 I can pull the hour from the date, but I can't figure out how to filter by hour or count values in a range. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi, i have a table. Which is contain 10 training centres. In each training centre there are 7/8 courses. Each course have 4/5 batches. Each batch contain 30 student. There are training_status column in the table where students have different values like pass, fail, not appeared and ongoing. I want to count how many pass, fail, not appeared and ongoing in each batch. It is coming in good way in pivot (since i dont know better reporting format for same) Now i want to add more field in row. Like after getting pass in training candidate got jobs/ placement. And after placement they used to submit proof of placement (Offer letter or Joining letter). They have submitted the proof of working (Payslips and bank statement) for continuous three months . Now i want to count how many candidates got placement out of pass, how many offer letter submitted. How many payslips for first month, second month and third month for batch-wise in a single report which is very easy in excel. But very difficult in caspio. I have shared the screenshot.

Good morning , I have a Pivot Table Report . I'm looking for a solution to replace the "13". For the count of all records with kostentest_cat = 1 (that are 13 records). can someone help. I want to create a view that will give me unique values for an activity with an entity, while the table stores activity, entity and sometimes multiple contact persons per entity. I want a chart and a report that shows the number of activities with each entity (and do not want those entities with multiple contact persons to count / shown multiple times). Is there a way to create so-called Group By views, or is there a way to structure a report in such way that The multiple contacts are not shown? -
Counting Search Hits Across Fields On A Single Record

Hi Guys, I hope somebody has an idea for this. I'm stuck creating the report, step 3 below. 1) user Bob insert its color preferences on a search web form: Name color1 color2 color3 color4 Bob red blue yellow black 2) it is compared against a table I created with information from other users that also like colors Name color1 color2 color3 color4 John red white orange brown mary purple magenta green grey Elen white green red blue 3) I need to give Bob the best match with the other users of the database. On the report I search by "red" OR "blue" OR "yellow" OR "black" at the same time Table of best matches for Bob (this would be the report) Name "Hits on search" Elen 2 John 1 I hope to be able to do this with a calculated field on my report ("hits on search", on the example) and sort by it. Somebody suggested to use COUNT, but that counts vertically across users, if I understood correctly: (times "red" showed up under the color1 column, for example) Any idea would be appreciated. I has been given this task and unfortunatly i cant wrap my brain around how to go about it. I need to create a Tally Sheet. Basically there will be assorted items on a page and i need a simple button that will add (1) to the Qty which should be displayed next to it. Im including a link to a website to demonstrate basically (not exactly) what i want to do. It needs to be as simple on the front end as possible. http://textmechanic.com/text-tools/numeration-tools/online-tally-counter/ All i want to be able to see when deployed is each diff item and a +/- and the total. Not even sure if this is something possible or not. Its being used when we purchase products at our facility by a 'buyer' and it will ultimatly keep track of how many of which items were buing so i may; pay the customer we are purchasing them from and add them to our inventory. Any Help would be Greatly Appreciated!!!

How can I limit the number of words in a text area? I know I can limit the number of characters, but I need to limit the words to 25 or less and display an error message is the user tries to submit a statement that is more than 25.

Good morning all, I am running in to a bit of difficulty with the reporting and charting features of Caspio right now. I currently have a table that has 21 Yes/No fields that are based on a review process. We would like to have a summary that shows either a count or % of No's in a given month (going off the date created field. Now while an aggregation SHOULD work, it will only allow count, and not even of only No values and it will only allow 5 at a given time and we have 21 fields. Charting has run into the same issue. I can make a calculated field that pulls a count of only no values per field, but I haven't found a good way to make this calculation apply to only dates in a given date roll up month (I do really like the date roll up grouping) without having to manually apply date restrictions and even then it would only work if I wanted to pull one month at a time. I am hoping others have run into similar issues with Caspio's aggregation and charting and have found workarounds. If anyone is creative it is this community! Any an all help would be much appreciated. Thank you!
